The Layatz industrial estate, historically the first park of its kind in St-Jean-de-Luz (1960), benefits from being very easily accessible.  It is in fact located alongside the N10, less than one kilometre from the A 63 motorway junction and the BAB airport.

This industrial park is mainly occupied by tertiary activities, particularly those associated with health:

• the Southern Basque Coast Polyclinic
• the Helios centre specialising in ophthalmology
• B-Braun Medical, European specialist in the manufacture of medical and surgical equipment. 

Other areas of activity are also well represented:

• commerce with several car dealerships  (Luz Auto and Lamerain garages),
• construction with CBA Matériaux (building materials), Laffitte Bois (wood)
• trades and advisory and service activities

In addition, the park has restaurant and hotel facilities.
