The village of Arbonne is surrounded by rolling hills and green pastures. Farming was the village’s main activity for a long time.

 

The village square still has a typical Labourdine feel to it, owing to a XIIth century church with a gabled bell tower with arches and its Basque cemetery filled with Hilarri (disk-shaped funerary steles).
